Description
The AI police are the only form of Artificial Intelligence in the game and have only been released to the public twice temporarily (each time for around 2 hours). They function like how would you expect, chasing you blindly until you lose them.
You get them on you If you hit a parked police car, not even hitting a moving police car will do anything. When you are chased, you will be moved to the Criminals team and the police AI will come after you. You used to go to Prison when getting arested, but now you just go to a black screen, which can only be bi-passed by leaving the game. Destroying a police car will give you from 500+ bounty to 750+ bounty, which turns into cash if you escape the police. You can think of this as a fun way to grind.
Alternatively, you may use your phone with the 'perks' app open to use the 'No Heat' perk (unlocked by default), paying $5000 in exchange for your criminal status being erased.
Criminal Effects[]
As a criminal, you will have several debuffs applied onto you. Firstly, you will get chased by the AI police. You will not be able to join the police nor enter auto shops. You also cannot use car dealerships though you may enter them. Your spawn will be changed to the criminal hideout which is in a remote area near the desert. There is a bug where the wanted level will not go down. If the player tries to join the police while being chased, it will say "Your application to be a police officer was denied because YOU'RE RUNNING FROM THE LAW!!!"
Trivia[]
- As of now, AI Police cars are now blue in colour.
- When an AI Police car loses health, they will start to smoke, once they reaches a health of 0, it will explode.
- Looking inside an AI Police car, there is no driver, nor a cop driving it. The windows are completely reflective.
- They were added in an update, but then removed in another. They were eventually re-added this update.
- The cops that can chase you are: Baron Monarch Victor, Peregrine Kingsman, and Edison Roadster 2.0, and Serene Galagapos GT (Old Version).
Glitches[]
- Reseting your character while on the run will make you a Prisoner, except you keep falling through the earth for all of eternity! You have to quit to end this.
- The police don't send you to jail, they send you to a black screen now.
- The police are suppost to activate from
- They are suppost to notice that you're speeding by means of a speed camera, but this doesn't happen.
